COMPARE OUR SUITES

We have seven cozy, spacious, state-of-the-art suites at our inn, all named in honor of women that have touched our lives personally and as Granburians. We have some suites that are perfect for girls’ weekends, and some suites for a romantic getaway. At the N on the Square, the options are endless. See which suites would make for the perfect home away from home for you.

Square View Suites

Guests: 2
Beds: 1 king
Bathroom: Walk-in shower
Features: View of the historic courthouse, very large

The Shirley Ann Room

Shirley and Bill Hooks were the previous owners of this fantastic building. Shirley has been a prominent business woman and leader in Granbury for decades. We wanted to honor her with this first suite that looks out over the Square. The room bears pops of lavender which is Shirley’s favorite color.
This King suite includes a lovely sitting area to watch the sun set over the courthouse.

The Mary Lou Room

This room bears the name of Mary Lou Watkins who was instrumental in saving the Square in the late 70’s. Due to her staunch defense of the beautiful Square, she insisted that Granbury preserve these wonderful buildings. As the owner of the Nutt House hotel across the street, Mary Lou would come out each evening and ring the dinner bell. You can see her statue just outside of the window of this room.
A corner room with huge windows overlooking the Square. You will fall in love with the stone walls on two sides! Decorated in subtle, natural tones, this suite is one of our favorites.

The Ruth Annie Room

Paula discovered a grandmother she didn’t know existed until she was in high school. Ruth Annie Hightower gave Paula the gift of praying for her for over 18 years. After finally meeting her, Ruth Annie lived an additional six years and Paula was able to close some of the gaps in her family history.
Dressed in French blue, the Ruth Annie Suite is our only double room featuring two king-sized beds with a large room with sitting area. The luxurious bathroom boasts a large walk-in shower, and a sensational soaking tub.

Beds: 1 king
Bathroom: Walk-in shower

The Leta Mae (Queen Bee) Room

We named this suite after Leta Mae Andrews who is a nationally acclaimed coach, and is from Granbury! She was named the Disney Teacher of the Year, is featured in the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, and has been nominated several times for the iconic Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. She was our owner, Paula’s coach in high school, and made a lasting impact on her life. Coach Andrews brought class to the basketball court in all that she did. This suite reflects her style and her spunk.

The Margaret Ann Room

This beautiful suite was named after the owner, Mark’s amazing and vivacious mother who was an educator and passed away too soon. Margaret was a lifetime educator and tennis enthusiast. She lived long enough to be there for the birth of her first grandchild. Margaret’s favorite color was green, which is why we lovingly embellished this room with the fresh, green tones throughout.

The Elizabeth Crockett Room

Many people don’t know that the surviving wives from the Alamo were granted land grants. Davy Crockett’s wife, Elizabeth was granted land right here in Granbury and there are still surviving relatives here today. She is buried in Acton, Texas, just a few miles from Granbury. Therefore, this room has a bit of a Texas, rugged twist with the antler chandelier, cowhide rug, and earth tones tossed into a relaxed vintage theme. This is another corner room providing two, stone walls and lots of natural light.

The Sybil Lucille Room

You will love this whimsical room decked out in 50’s pink. The reason for the pink is to honor  Paula’s other grandmother who was a talented seamstress and hair salon owner in the 1950s. Sybil was ahead of her time in her era as an entrepreneurial woman! Paula has been inspired her entire life by watching her grandmother run her businesses. Whatever she put her hands on, she did it with style, elegance, and with a tenacious spirit. This room just makes you smile when you enter!
